Ellie Madeland is a Swedish singer-songwriter based in London, UK.
Ellie grew up in a small village in Småland, Sweden. Demonstrating a passion for music and singing from a very young age, her father taught her how to play guitar and write songs.
After graduating a Film and Music program in 2015, Ellie moved to London to explore the UK music scene. In 2018, she recorded an album ('Olympiad') as the lead singer of synth-pop duo Island Empire. Whilst completing her music degree from BIMM London, she worked together with the talented producer Gentle William on her previous two single releases, 'Out of Nowhere' (2021) and 'Mother Mother' (2022).
'BODY AFTER BODY' is the the first single to introduce Ellie's brand new electronic, alt pop sound to the world. The single was produced by Platinum selling Jack Gourlay and was recorded in the beautiful seaside town of Deal, Kent.
